family

We have had a week packed with family. And we like it! Patrick's younger brother John got married on Saturday. Two of his aunts, an uncle and a cousin came in from out West. They hadn't met Lydia so it was fun to have them in town. We ended up seeing them pretty much every day Thursday-Monday.



Patrick's oldest brother moved on Monday. He and his family are now Oregonians. We are happy for them and what their future holds out West but are sad because for the last year we've been spoiled by their closeness. We are thankful that we were able to spend the last year in the same city. They already have a little boy and are expecting a little girl in August. It will be really hard not getting to see Sam or this new baby grow up. We tried to make a point of going and visiting them over the last 2 months more since we knew this time was coming. Sadly time flew by and we didn't get to see them as much as we'd hoped. It was nice though that this weekend was packed full of them them and other family members as we celebrated their younger brother's wedding.
