sunday pics

This Sunday I thought the girls looked cute in their church clothes so I wanted to snap a few pictures. Lyds is 26 months and Kes almost 8 months.

After church we decided to snap a few of mommy and the girls and then daddy and the girls. Lydia wasn't super enthusiastic about this but we managed to get a few with her.

cookies with grandma

One of the things I love most about living with my in laws is that the girls get to be around their grandma and grandpa so much. I remember right after Diane had her accident (the day after actually), we didn't know if she was even going to live, Patrick and I were crying and saying how much we wanted the girls to know their grandma. The way she was prior to the accident. At that point we didn't know what her capabilities would be if she did make it. Now almost 6 months later, we are so thankful that they are getting to know that grandma! They are able to spend (pretty much) every day with her. She chases them around, gets on the floor with them, sits on the stairs at Lydia's command, and makes cookies with them. Yummy cookies.

Thanking the Lord for these ordinary things done in ordinary days that I too often take for granted.

jordan: maternity

This is Jordan. One of my dearest friends! She's due next month with her second babe. Her first (a boy) is 9 days older than Lydia and Lydia loves him! They're BFF. This little (ok not so little...) one is a GIRL! I can't wait to see her and hold her and love her! We're going to BFF.

Here's to you EJ!!!

mitchum family: at nana and pops

Last week I went to Nana and Pops house to capture some time with all five of their grandkids. What a sweet family! I really enjoyed watching these kids interact with their grandparents and each other. The love was evident! And Nana and Pop have so many fun things to do at their house!

Thank you Mitchum family!!!
