Baby Burnette

Check out Baby S. His mom and dad are totally smitten with their new baby boy. I was happy to get to take some pictures of him while he was so tiny. 1 1/2 weeks old. I told them I was thankful to be pregnant because he would have given me awful baby fever!

Thank You Sister!

My oldest sister has 3 kids. The youngest (Josie) was born last December. That means all her clothes are the right size/season for what my little girl will be. Sarah Beth (my sister) was very kind to let me borrow a ton of baby girl clothes. I went through them yesterday and sorted all the different sizes so we'll only have out what she needs when she needs it. Check out all these clothesI can't wait to see our baby in all these different outfits. I was getting really excited last night while looking through the lot.

The Lord has been so kind to us throughout my pregnancy. I have not had to buy hardly any maternity clothes. Between my sisters and friends and random people giving me stuff/letting me borrow stuff, my closet is overflowing with clothes.

Plans for the Evening

Patrick is working late tonight (not too late... just later than normal). So here I am at home by my lonesome. Although I'm really not that alone. I have my pups and my baby. I need to go to the grocery store so here's what I made for dinner. Eggs and toast. YUM! There's a glass of milk that isn't pictured. YUM again.

So tonight's plans consist of:
Eating:Done
Going to the Grocery store
Putting up groceries
Sweeping all of Kirby's hair off my floors
Editing pictures
Hopefully my husband will be home soon after all this.

Preg Friends

I have a ton of friends that are currently pregnant. It has been such a joy to get to share this stage of my life with dear friends. One of those is Alex. We lived on the same street and shared our season of newly weds and shortly after they announced they were having a baby we also jumped on the band wagon. She is having a girl as well. I hope we share many more seasons of life together. Her and Clint are great friends that I love getting to spend time with.

I had been wanting to get a picture of our big bellies together. We finally got one on Saturday. They had us over for dinner. Here are our big bellies... She is 37 weeks and I'm 29wks.

Do you remember when I posted about her gender reveal party here?? Here we are with some other preggies who have each had their little boys.

I was 13 wks and she was 21 wks (I think).

We've changed a little bit huh??

29 wk update

I'm 29 weeks pregnant. Our camera is messed up (well not our camera but the card for our camera) so I can't take an updated picture. I'll try to get one with my phone later (I wont being doing this in the bathroom at work because I have gotten so much grief over that from people (teasing me) at work).

I did go to the doctor for my check up yesterday. Here's what I found out

My blood pressure looked good at 102/60
My weight is now 134 (4 lbs gained since my last apt and 16 lbs gained total)
Baby girl (this week we are leaning toward the name Kesid) has a heart beat in the 130's
I'm measuring 27 cm.

Doc says everything looks/sounds good.

I finised the front of her quilt... now I need to buy some batting and have Tara show me how to do that. I'll take a picture as soon as I have a functioning camera. I'm thinking about putting her crib together soon. Maybe I can commission Patrick's help on this soon.

SBTS Fall Festival

Last week SBTS hosted its annual Fall Festival. All students/staff and their family and friends are invited out for free food and activities. Every year this thing gets better and better. We ran into so many people and enjoyed getting to catch up. Here are some pictures to document our evening.

Hello Third Trimester

Can you believe it? I'm already in my third trimester. Today marks 28 weeks and that means I'm on the home stretch... Speaking of stretches. I'm not sure my belly can stretch much more. It seems pretty big already to me.

I'm feeling great. Loving candy corn and all the extra movements I'm feeling lately. I have been having a bunch of braxton hicks (spelling??) contractions lately. They aren't painful, my stomach just gets really really tight and it kind of takes my breath away.

Last night I went over to my friend Tara's house to cut out fabric for a baby quilt. She helped (ok she did it all:) ) me sew the elastic into my crib sheets. I have never sewn elastic like that so it helped to watch. Thanks Tara!!! I can't wait to get to sewing this quilt.

I'm trying to think of other interesting news to update my blog with but I'm having a hard time thinking.

Thankful for 28 weeks of a healthy baby.
