Kes is as easy going as they come. It always amazes me how she will just crawl around on the floor going from toy to toy for long stretches of time.
In the last month she has started clapping some, crawling for real, and pulling up. PULLING UP. She is so cute when she crawls over to me sitting in a chair and pulls her self up. She smiles this proud smile and I could just eat it up.
She is eating three meals of solids a day. I'm having a hard time coming up with something for her to eat in the mornings. She doesn't care for fruits. She could eat veggies all day long. Fruits, not so much. She spits them out and gags. Who is this kid? Today I offered her regular oatmeal (she doesn't care for the baby oatmeal) and some yogurt. She ate a little of it but wasn't too enthused.
Kes still loves her sister. They are interacting more and more with each passing month. My favorite is when they are both in their high chairs sitting next to each other at the table and Lydia started shrieking and then Kesid mimics. Or when Lydia runs aways and then runs back and jumps right next to Kes (kind of scary but also sweet to hear them both laugh). I love my sisters and pray that these two have a sweet friendship that will last their lifetime!
Kesid seems to have really sensitive skin. Her little cheeks have been red practically all winter long. I apply the aquaphor like it's my job and it will clear up a little but then it comes right back.
Thankfully we have had a healthy winter. A few runny noses or some mild crust in the eyes but no flu or bugs. Praying that it lasts!!
We tell our girls all the time how much we love them and I pray that even more than they know of our love for them that they would know the sweet sweet love of Christ. It is from Him that we have these wonderfully gifts of children. Thank you Lord for our babes!
These next pictures are of Lydia running away and then jumping right next to Kesid... they both thought it was hilarious!
Happy 8 months Kesi Ru!!
They are just too cute together!!!
