Although it feels like she has always been here, Kesid is now 4 months old. She is really coming into her own little personality. She is sweet and cuddly and makes the cutest squeals and squawks. This girl can give a belly laugh if you really get her going (which her Aunt Anna is best at). We love having her around!
She is still a very content baby. This last month she has improved on going down for naps by herself. She may cry for about 5 minutes but eventually calms herself down and will fall asleep. She is mostly sleeping through the night but will wake up every once in a while around 5am or so. I hope to get her on a more defined schedule this month. Right now this is what her day looks like:
7:30 wake up and nurse. play for about an hour or hour and a half.
9:00-10:30 Nap
10:30 nurse. play for around an hour
12:00-1:30 Nap
1:30 nurse. play for around an hour (you catching onto our pattern yet?)
2:30-4:00 Nap
4:00 Nurse (I start cluster feeding in the evening...trying to fill up her tank so she'll sleep through the night)
6:30 Nurse
7:30 Nap
8:30 Nurse and then go down for bed
10:30 dream feed and right back to bed
I think Kesid is about to find her feet and she may be getting close to crawling. She rolls every once in a while from back to stomach but rolls stomach to back pretty regularly. When on her belly she will turn in complete circles and even scoot herself totally off her blanket.
I'm not sure how much she weighs because we haven't gone in for her 4 month check up. We go in a week or so. She is growing like a weed though. She is in 3-6 months clothes still but may be about to grow out of some of those sleepers. She sure is long!
I love how she will smile at you from across the room now. She is becoming lots more alert and interactive with us.
Kes, I'm loving every single snuggle!
