Big Rock

It's been so nice out the past few days. Trying to take advantage of it, we've gone on a few walks and eaten dinner outside. Last night we decided to go to a place I've never been called Big Rock. It's in Cherokee Park and is a great place for Kirby to play. Kirby had never been swimming before but because he has some lab in him, he's a natural. I was silly and forgot my camera or flip to document this moment properly. I took some pictures with my phone instead. They aren't the best, but they will help us remember this moment.

Last night I told Patrick we need to try and hit all the places that are unique to Louisville in the next year. Who knows how long we'll be in this city and once we leave, if we'll ever be back. If you know of any great places or really fun festivals or anything unique to the Louisville let me know!

24 weeks

I'm 24 weeks today. Time is moving right on along. My stomach is definitely growing and I guess that means she is too. We still haven't decided on a name...

She had the hiccups this morning. It was the first time I felt them. It was sweet. I love those times when she moves a lot. I just stop what I'm doing and soak up those little thumps.

I'll try and take a picture tonight of my growing bump.

Patrick started school today. Ahh summer, where did you go? I'm really okay with summer being over because it has been TOO HOT here in KY. I'm ready for fall weather and leaves and spices and everything else that comes along with Fall.

Ben Ty's 1st Birthday

Before we left on vacation, I had the pleasure of taking some pictures at Ben Ty's 1st Birthday Party. This little man is active. Ben is the son of some of my old friends who I hadn't seen in a long time. It was great to catch up with their family.

MILK, ahh the relief

I've been having some serious heart burn the last week or so. This is about the only thing that gives me some relief.

I'm Back and 23 wks

I got back into KY early yesterday morning. I took a red eye Sunday night from Portland, OR to Cincinnatti to be able to get back to work on Monday. What a day! I was tired. Thankfully the Lord was very kind to me and I was able to get an entire row to my self on the plane and sleep the entire flight. My body is all messed up still from the time change. I went to bed last night at 10:30 and woke up at 12am, 2am, 3am, 5am, and then finally got up for good at 7am. I'm hoping tonight I am able to sleep better because I feel really out of it as of now.

Yesterday after work I went and picked up our sweet Kirby from my sister's house. It was good to see his happy face in my rear view mirror on the way home.

He's currently keeping me company while Patrick is still in Oregon for a few more days. MAN I can't wait till he gets home. I miss him like crazy. I think the whole time we've been married we've only spent at the most like 2 days apart from each other. I'm pretty sure this is the longest time (Sunday night to Thursday morning) and I'm hating it.

I'm 23 wks today. Patrick has our good camera so I'm taking my weekly pic with the trusty old phone. I'm feeling our little girl move more and more. On the flight home, she kicked/punched/bumped into me more than I've ever felt before. It was a sweet time. It was just me and her flying home.
I forgot to post these from our ultrasound. I tried to scan them so the quality would be better, but ya know, I'm just awful at that. So this will have to work. Look at her sweet profile and hand. MMMM I just can't wait to eat those little fingers and checks up:)

I saw my stomach move today for the first time when she bumped/kicked/punched me.

Josie

Josie is our 7 month old niece. She is beautiful. I was able to take some pics of her sweetness over the weekend. I love those gushy cheeks and yummy rolls. My Dad says she may be chubbier than I was... that's saying something.

West Coast Here We Come!!!

Patrick and I leave tomorrow with the whole Schreiner clan for a vacation to the West Coast. Some of you may remember we took a trip just like this one last year. I am extremely excited and ready for this vacation. Patrick and I are not taking a computer so there will not be any posting while we are gone... but we will have pictures and videos to share when we return.

YAY for VACATIONS!!!!
